The Role
CAA is seeking a self-motivated, quick-thinking Music Touring Assistant to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office.
Responsibilities
• Manage heavy incoming and outgoing call volume and emails
• Schedule meetings and appointments
• Work with clients across Hip Hop and R&B genres
• Independently book and route tours with minimal agent supervision
• Serve as point of contact for clients, agents/executives, and other industry connections
• Manage agent travel and prepare expense re ports
• Issue and review contracts
• Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Qualifications
• Highly organized, adaptable and detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to meet deadlines and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Team oriented and able to work in a fast paced, demanding, ever changing environment
• Strong knowledge of music touring
Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-$22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
