Job Description
Creative Artists Agency is looking for entry-level Clerks with future interests within the TV Alternative department. Agents within this space represent talent within the non-scripted, premium documentary, podcast and IP/Books sector. They also work closely with directors, producers and production companies focusing heavily on packaging opportunities for clients.
Clerks will learn about CAA culture, service standards, and agency operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, administratively savvy, flexible and passionate about unscripted television and artist representation in the entertainment business.
Primary responsibilities:
• Interest in the unscripted, reality television landscape – talent, shows, networks and executives
• Perform various internal and external mail/messenger activities (sorting, tracking, delivering, pickup, etc.).
• Setup and breakdown conference rooms and event spaces, including AV elements for meetings and company events.
• Operate mailing, copy, and binding equipment.
• Inventory all supplies in stockrooms and receive packages at the docks.
• Maintain monthly invoices.
• Attend to the coffee bar and Dispatch.
• Attend to reception areas through the entire building.
• Ensure that CAA standards are upheld. Client services starts in the mailroom!
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Mailroom, in support of the business.

Qualifications
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
• Prior administrative/internship experience within the Entertainment Industry preferred
• Excellent phone skills.
• Sharp with details and very organized.
• Adept at problem-solving and thinking quick on his/her feet.
• Able to multi-task and complete all tasks in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and encouraging teammate.
• Ability to prioritize workload under time constraints and work collaboratively.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Available to work a 9hr. shift, Monday – Friday.
• Willing to work occasional overtime.
