Manager, HR Operations - Global Mobility & Leaves (New York)
We are looking for a Manager to join our People Operations team in our New York City office. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this is a hands-on role where you will work primarily on the following HR operational needs: relocation, visas, and leaves of absence, as well as oversee the day-to-day operations of 2 people operations specialists.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with Head of People Operations and the rest of the People Team members to ensure a high level of service and rapid response time to our employees and business as well as our ability to provide great employee experiences.
• Leverage global mobility expertise to provide hands-on administration and management of international assignments, localizations, and permanent transfers, while working with managers, the HR team, and various external partners and vendors.
• Responsible for facilitating and managing global mobility processes, resolving issues, auditing internal processes and analyzing data.
• Coordinate with immigration and tax consultants, employees, managers, and HR Business Partners regarding visa applications & renewals.
• Facilitate and manage employee leaves of absence globally, including guiding employees through policies, and working with HR Business Partners, managers, and external insurance vendors.
• Be the expert in, and provide guidance on country-specific policies and statutory requirements.
• Manage 2 people operations specialists, overseeing the day-to-day handling of general employee questions, and processing of benefits, 401K, workers comp, and all other operations related issues.
• Monitor and improve processes to execute People Team Programs and workflow.
• Run reports out of Workday and use data insights to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience in HR operations management, with hands-on experience facilitating relocation assignments, Global Immigration experience or a combination as well as managing leaves of absence.
• Strong project management skills and continuous improvement orientation while working across functions and geographies to facilitate processes that best serve the business and the employees.
• Strong HR sensibility, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, do root cause analyses, conduct research and recommend solutions.
• Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator who builds rapport and credibility with others easily.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
• Experience working with global HR technology, Workday a plus.
