The Role
BuzzFeed Branded Video is looking for a resourceful Line Producer to bring their production and organizational skills to Tasty. We are looking for a smart, skilled, passionate self-starter that can work seamlessly with the various departments within Branded Video. Interest and experience with food content is a bonus. This is a freelance, project-based position.
You Will
• Budget and execute multiple low-lift shoots (5-10 person crews) for Branded Tasty and Media Brands, on schedule and under budget
• Work within established Google Drive folders for every shoot, keeping all production documents organized
• Collaborate with Creative Producers, Culinary, Studio Ops, and Post-Production on production logistics
• Hire and oversee freelance crew on set
• Complete and submit start packets, call sheets, timecards, Cashet and petty cash reconciliation, reimbursements, purchase orders, and check requests within accounting deadlines
• If shooting on campus, facilitate stage booking and necessary gear rentals with Studio Ops. Create and update Studio Ops-specific production binders to meet their needs prior to shooting on campus, including gear/crew lists, concepts, and shot lists. Set resource syncs and tech scouts with Studio Ops to ensure shoot needs are met
• Flag any outstanding issues to the Supervising Producer and Associate Director of Production
• Ensure that crew safety is maintained at all times and adhere to all new safety protocols created in response to COVID 19
• Work with the Culinary Team and the Creative Producers to tag team sourcing of hero products
• Work closely with the APOC to make sure nothing falls through the cracks
You Have
