Full Time Unpaid Internship
For the first part of the internship, interns will have the opportunity to work at Buffalo 8 and BondIt Media Capital, rotating during the week between the different operating divisions.
Intern responsibilities and daily tasks will include some (but not all) of the following: reading scripts and providing coverage, drafting creative pitch deck feedback to clients, screening film and TV pilots and providing feedback, tracking new and current deal information, assisting analysts with excel modeling, researching film news for engagement on social media, posting and helping manage our social media pages, generating leads for business development and organizing grids, updating and maintaining the companies' operating systems, managing client materials and tracking client news, screening post-production rough-cuts and other daily tasks as they arise.
The position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both film and media finance, related production services and a stronger perspective of producing film and television content. Candidates should have superior oral and written communication skills, be eager to learn about the entertainment industry and have a strong work ethic. Coding experience a plus but not required.
