We are looking for an exceptionally driven Digital Account Director to join our Social & Strategy team to support our efforts to create groundbreaking content.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic business leader with a reputation for being collaborative and highly creative. They will lead talented teams in the development of breakthrough social/digital content. They will bring a proven track record of growing and positively impacting the revenue and reputation of digital first divisions through strong client relationships, keen industry insights and innovative creative.
Responsibilities include:
Business Development
-Lead social new business efforts/client pitches
-Leverage existing relationships across entertainment and brands to positively impact Buddha Jones revenue, meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets
-Build relationships with new clients and strengthen existing relationships through open communication and a consistent commitment to creative excellence
-Partner across divisions on pitches requiring digital/social expertise/creative
Creative & Client Management
-Actively participate in creative ideation and development of digital/social content
-Ability to provide practical creative direction and feedback to creative teams
-Ensure work is on-brief, consistent with client expectations and meets Buddha Jones' standard of creative excellence
-Hands on management of daily activities for multiple clients/projects
+Additional duties as necessary
Qualifications:
-6+ years of experience in client management in the entertainment industry
-3+ years of experience in the digital/social space
-A minimum of 2 years in a revenue-generating role
-Budget planning and management
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-A passion for entertainment (film, series, gaming)
Ideal Qualities:
-Natural born and proven self-starter with the drive to succeed in an agency environment
-Proactive and naturally curious about the digital space, constantly looking for new opportunities
-Positive thinker whose optimistic outlook is contagious to everyone around them, clients included
-Knows the answer to life, the universe and everything
