Buddha Jones is a fast paced entertainment marketing company located in the heart of Hollywood. We are looking for an exceptionally driven individual to join our Digital & Social team and help support our efforts to create groundbreaking content. Position will start remote (candidates should be based out of LA) but may transition to the office full time when the pandemic ends.
We are looking for someone who is inspired by the future of the entertainment industry and has a deep understanding of creative strategy and fan engagement. You are someone who recognizes the power of entertainment to engage audiences, is obsessed with the convergence of digital and traditional media, and can translate that into actionable insights to propel our creative approach.
Responsibilities:
Translate creative briefs into tactical and actionable strategy to inspire creative thinking.
Develop and present creative briefs, insights and thought-starters to clients and internal teams, as needed.
Contribute to ideation and development of digital/social content
Ability to provide practical creative direction and feedback
Participate in integrated pitches
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years working at an advertising agency, with 3-4 years experience in strategy.
Minimum 3 years working with Entertainment clients (theatrical, streaming and/or gaming experience preferred)
Experience producing creative briefs, go to market strategies, communications and content strategies
Experience accessing/producing primary and secondary research to surface insights
A natural fascination with consumer behavior and cultural trends
Confidence to challenge the status quo and reinvent the way strategy is approach and implemented
Knows the answer to life, the universe and everything
