Buchwald is looking to hire a highly motivated Assistant to Co-Head of Talent in the Los Angeles office.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of being highly organized, detailed oriented, excellent communicator, computer savvy, results driven, and can thrive in a fast-paced team with a heavy volume of work.
Position Responsibilities:
• Administrative support including phone management, calendar management fo busy executive, expense reports, meeting and call coordination, and travel arrangements
• Drafting email correspondence, sending submissions, and tracking incoming/outgoing material.
• Maintain availability grid and send out submissions for all bookings and personal appearances.
• Effectively communicate and interact with high-profile clients, clients, managers, executives in a professional manner.
• Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using critical thinking and practical approaches.
• High attention to detail and follow-through on all items involving operations.
• Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed.
• Track industry news and leads.
• Other various projects and tasks as assigned.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
and Skills:
• At least 1 year of talent agency experience (required).
• Desire to become an agent, as we prefer to develop and promote from within.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of InEntertainment and Breakdown Express is preferred.
• Excellent written & communication skills.
• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Google docs, Zoom, Teams required.
• Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests.
• A self-starter with the ability to think.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
