Summary
The Manager of Inside Sales is responsible for establishing the sales strategies and implementing elite procedures for the Inside Sales department. You will recruit, hire, train, lead and manage the process for Inside Sales Account Managers. You will also be expected to sell Brooklyn Nets season and partial ticket packages. Position reports directly to the Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Attends career fairs, and builds relationships with colleges/universities to recruit great talent for incoming Inside Sales classes;
• Hires, trains, and establishes the management process of Inside Sales Representatives;
• Creative thinking for the next big idea to assist the organization in achieving sales goals;
• Supports all Barclays Center group sales events;
• Achieves and exceeds a yearly team and personal sales goal set by the Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service;
• Conducts weekly sales meetings, both department and individual appointments, to makes sure all Account Managers are being held accountable and pacing towards their individual goals;
• Provides superior customer service for all current and new season ticket holders;
• Actively prospects and researches new sales leads, establishes qualified leads, and close sales;
• Supports representatives by joining phone calls and face-to-face appointments in an effort to move the sales process along;
• Understands and use various tools within the organization such as Archtics, CRM, etc. to follow all office and company standard operating procedures;
• Supports specific club initiatives, including Influencer programs and Barclays Center Business Alliance events;
• Meets and greets season ticket holders at Nets home games and generates new business opportunities and client referrals;
• Assists in the creative concepts of season ticket sales materials, including brochures, flyers, and all other support materials;
• Tactfully handles and resolves team and season ticket holder issues and follows up appropriately;
• Participates in special projects/project team(s) as assigned, to support department objectives;
Education
and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree required;
• 2-4 years of sales experience working for professional sports franchise in ticket sales.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Proficiency in ticketing systems; managing ticket inventory, as well as creating and manipulating prices;
• Possess knowledge of Archtics database ticketing system and Microsoft CRM;
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and related software skills;
• Truly outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills;
• Keen attention to detail, strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills;
• Has an interest and ability in serving others as one of the primary functions of their job;
• Self-directed and able to work independently;
• Flexible and reliable standout colleague, always acting in the best interest of their department and the company as a whole;
• Ability to build and maintain productive, positive relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrates a strong ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives;
Travel Requirements
May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
Work Environment
Primarily works in an office environment, however is expected to attend all Brooklyn Nets home games.
