We are currently looking for a Publicist to join our team. The Publicist reports into the team Associate Director of Publicity. This role demands knowledge of the digital entertainment space, exceptional relationships with both press and clients, proactive problem solving and attention to detail. The Publicist is responsible for the management of digital publicity campaigns, which includes:
- Responsible for day-to-day campaign execution on assigned film, TV, streaming and entertainment-adjacent projects
- Establish and maintain strong press, booker, influencer and stakeholder relationships
- Direct management of the Digital Publicity Coordinator on your team, including:
- Weekly check-ins and managing workload
- Managing the overall growth and development of the Coordinator
- Assist Associate Director in all active team campaigns
- Lead delegated mid-lift campaigns, anticipating process and executing based on client needs
- Strategize and participate in in-person & virtual events (ie festivals, junkets, premieres, etc.)
- Participate in new business brainstorms, as needed
We're looking for the following skills:
- 2-4 years working in a digital or publicity environment, preferably Digital Publicity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
- Solutions-oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in using Google Workspace, PowerPoint/Keynote, Word, Excel
- Familiarity with the media, entertainment and influencer landscape
- A keen sense of digital editorial outlets, editors, influencers and creators - including presence, following and influence within the social media space
- Love of entertainment and pop culture
