Web-based entertainment service company is seeking a detail-oriented, patient, and technically savvy individual to provide assistance to Casting Director customers via phone, email, and online chat. Our team is dedicated to our clients, ensuring they know how to use our products in the most efficient way possible and responding to problems quickly and accurately.
The ideal candidate will have a love of the entertainment industry and a desire to learn more about the pre-production and casting process. They should be a problem solver and quick thinker, and have broad experience in technical support for both Windows and Apple computers and web browsers. We desire support staff that can think critically and find solutions to unique challenges while remaining professional with customers.
You must have a car and a valid driver's license to support offsite client training in the Los Angeles area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Learn all aspects of the business and available features and products and stay up
to date on new features and products
- Provide accurate technical support on our proprietary software and website via phone,
email, online chat, and in-person in an efficient and timely manner
- Train clients on using the website and software
- Maintain a physical inventory of equipment and manage the digital inventory database
- Drop-off and pick-up equipment from Casting Directors clients
- Help maintain tutorials for use by customers and clients
- Deductively investigate bug reports to determine cause and severity, and
follow-through until a resolution is
- Provide feedback from customers and clients regarding requested improvements to
the software and contribute creatively to finding solutions to user pain points
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Excellent computer knowledge, both Apple and Windows
- Self-motivated and result oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Enthusiastic and a team player
- Stellar interpersonal skills and a great communicator
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, GoToMeeting, GoToAssist,
Slack, Freshdesk, or other comparable products
- Entertainment industry knowledge a big plus
