Break the Floor Productions produces over 100 events annually. The Event Planning Department is responsible for coordinating all event details to the venues each season.
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Experience working with large amounts of data. Ability to handle, analyze, visualize and present data to influence decision-making.
High proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Applications, and ability to learn new software
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow through with team members to achieve individual and group goals.
Motivated, positive attitude, and results-oriented
Knowledge of the dance industry preferred
Flexibility to travel as required by role
Ability to read CAD drawings is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Assist Event Planners to plan and execute event details, ranging from small programs to large scale productions.
Identify and implement effective processes and procedures to ensure smooth events.
Develop planning tools; i.e. budget tracking, project timeline, production schedules, event specs, meeting agendas and notes, etc.
Gather pickup reports and update spreadsheets each week.
E-filing rooming list confirmations, receipts and documents from event venues.
Manage post-event metrics and reporting.
Participate as a team player in providing overall value to the company.
