POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position requires you to work all phases of activity throughout the year at JetBlue Park including spring training, the minor league regular season, fall and winter camps, and the Red Sox Fantasy Camps.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Field set up and breakdown
• Assist coaching, athletic training, baseball operations, and Florida operations staff as needed
• Assist with locker room prep and maintenance
• Pre-game setup and post-game breakdown of game fields & dugouts
• Available to run errands at the request of the Clubhouse and Equipment Manager
• Set up umpires locker room on home game days
• Assist in loading and unloading team bus for travel to away games
• Laundering of uniforms, apparel, and towels
• Cleaning and maintenance of baseball equipment
• Inventory control of uniform apparel and equipment
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Assist the Minor League Clubhouse and Equipment Manager as needed
• Other responsibilities as needed and assigned
CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
• Prefer 2 years of prior experience working in a professional clubhouse setting
• Able to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, lift heavy objects
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and a team player
• Dependable and willing to take initiative
• Must be able to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
• Spanish speaking is preferred
