POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Media Asset Management Assistant role is a part-time role responsible for maintaining Red Sox Productions' media asset management system. Working alongside the Senior Manager of Red Sox Productions, this position will ensure that all video assets contain correct metadata fields throughout the season, and will help grow Red Sox Productions video archives by digitizing analog footage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handle and deliver all external Red Sox footage requests
• Maintain Red Sox Productions' video storage
• Update and cross-reference all metadata fields across all digital video assets
• Digitize and import analog Red Sox footage
CHARACTERISITICS / QUALIFICATIONS:
• Extensive working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Mac computers is required
• Knowledge of video editing workflows and media asset management systems
• Experience in college or professional sports industry preferred but not required
• Demonstrates a passion for and knowledge of baseball
• Ability to work in a fast-faced environment with a high attention to detail
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the year
• Ability to work up to 34 hours a week
