New and rapidly growing talent agency located in midtown Manhattan is seeking a PART-TIME, UNPAID spring semester intern for our BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT department. We are a full-service agency representing professional actors and models, ages 18+, for on-camera, print, voice over and live/theater projects.
This position REQUIRES AT LEAST 1-2 DAYS/WEEK in the office. The right candidate is extremely resilient and refuses to take ''no'' for an answer, loving the big win from finally accomplishing an ongoing challenge. You are outgoing, creative, and have the gift of the gab, having never met a stranger. You are organized and able to manage a pipeline, understanding that the key to growth and success is follow up, follow up, follow up!
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (completed or currently in progress)
A talented writer, both creative and professional
Excellent phone skills
An outgoing and resilient personality
A self-starter who can work independently
Ability to think outside the box
Ability to provide your own laptop is a plus! (not required)
Responsibilities:
Conduct cold calls and bypass gatekeepers
Draft pitch emails
Manage a pipeline to ensure continuous engagement
Industry research
