POSITION SUMMARY: Leads the day to day logistics of processing cue sheets, usage reports, and performance identification. This role also assists the Manager in coaching team members’ performance, monitoring production, conducting regular audits, and escalating and resolving issues to deliver complete, timely and accurate inputs for distribution processing.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Essential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
• Assist in monitoring quarterly production and ensure that team goals and deadlines are being met.
• Train and coach team members to improve overall knowledge, quality and quantity.
• Assist in establishing goals, prioritize and assign work, and support day to day activities across team. Specifically address team needs and questions as they arise.
• Conduct routine quality audits, identify trends and communicate results.
• Research, resolve and escalate issues to Manager.
• As applicable, process cue sheets, link performances and perform other necessary tasks to meet team goals and deadlines. This should represent nearly 50% of a Team Leaders time.
• Communicate on a regular basis with Team Manager.
• Organize and manage departmental meetings/stand-ups.
• Participate and contribute to special projects on an as needed basis.
• Assist in establishing new policies and procedures to improve quality and processing efficiencies.
• Monitor adherence to policies and procedures across various business processes.
• When applicable, prepare and deliver employee performance reviews with team manager.
• Stay abreast of current industry trends relevant to BMI’s business.
• Other duties as needed.
• Regular attendance.

Specific to Distribution and Administration Services International Team
• Coordinate Credit/Debit Process.
• Lead the procurement of documentation for high value works.
• Manage the Foreign Informational Quality Control process.
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance functions of this job.
• Sitting, talking, hearing, walking.
• Concentrated mental and visual attention with normal hand-eye coordination.
• Clarity of vision at 20 inches; corrected or uncorrected.
• Generally negligible physical effort, but occasional moving of 1 to 10 lb. items.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the functions of this job.
Normal office conditions.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Foreign language a plus.
• Basic knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
Experience:
• Minimum three (3) years external experience in operational/processing field, music business, music publishing, or at least two (2) years in BMI related field.
• Basic computer navigation skills including Word, Excel and general proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
