POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for developing and defining business opportunities through market analysis and expertise. Responsible for researching key markets, regularly reporting on market penetration and compiling, interpreting, and distributing campaign analytics to Licensing management to maximize revenue potential.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of assigned markets and assess potential revenue opportunities.
• Monitor potential new business opportunities by identifying trendsetter ideas, researching industry and related events, publications, internet, and other various resources.
• Recommend revenue potential based on market research and analysis of existing and new business opportunities. Recommend growth opportunities to Licensing Management.
• Monitor licensing efforts to evaluate effectiveness of campaigns. Build reports and compile data to provide feedback to management. Assess latest information and adjust recommendations as required.
• Assist Sr. Director, Operations Planning & Market Development with project management, organization and administrative functions related to strategic planning, marketing, and communications.
• Provide lead generation support as needed.
• Assist with collecting and formatting data lists for processing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Experience in market analysis and business development or relevant coursework preferred.
Skills
and Abilities:
• Advanced analytical/problem solving skills combined with business acumen
• Strong research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Proven ability to understand, set, and change priorities to reflect business needs
• Ability to work collaboratively, positive attitude, strong initiative
