Come join a team tasked with translating numbers into plain English for BMI's Licensing department.
The Manager, Licensing Analytics will provide data management, report development, and analytical leadership for all areas of Licensing.
Core Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the Data Hub system and assets; including the application lifecycle, requirements analysis, development, testing, implementation and participation in technical, logic and design discussions with IT.
• Manage day-to-day Data Hub processes and deliverables in production.
• Manage integration and accuracy of data from external sources and various internal databases, by utilizing coding, scripting, and complex technical language skills.
• Manage vendor relationships including negotiation of terms & conditions for vendor partner agreements.
• Conceptualize best ways to organize and present integrated data for various audiences, including, reporting system management, security, distribution, and communication.
• Management of data governance and data accuracy by inspecting, cleansing and performing scheduled quality checks.
• Present key findings to Senior Management with next step recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Managing, designing, and maintaining various departmental databases for data entry by others, tracking ability, and reporting uses.
• Trouble-shoot system deviations and provide departmental support for systems.
• Create and publish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and produce documentation for systems, reports, data management and operating procedures.
• Work closely with Information Technology function to manage licensing requests for IT projects and follow through to completion. Ensure requests, system/data issues and project updates are communicated as needed in a timely manner.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• SQL Knowledge – certification is preferred.
• Five (5) years’ experience in business analysis, data analysis or related experience required.
• Five (5) years’ SQL experience required.
• Experience developing and maintaining basic SQL queries with solid understanding of database structures and relationships.
• Microsoft Access database application development and maintenance experience required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel and Access. Experience with business intelligence tools, e.g. Cognos, preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in analysis, preparation and presentation of data required.
• Problem solving-ability to assess projects and apply the best analysis techniques.
