Office Assistant
Blumhouse is looking for an Office Assistant. This role will be responsible for managing the front desk and general office administration, including but not limited to, overseeing the receipt and delivery of mail, ordering office supplies, and serving as the main point of contact in reception. To do this role properly you should have strong organizational skills, be extremely fast at solving problems, have a professional demeanor, and be able to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the pick-up and delivery of mail and packages
• Maintain office business accounts like: FedEx, couriers, maintenance, paper, supplies, caterers, etc.
• Ensure office supplies are ordered and stocked as needed
• Act as point person for office related issues with Blumhouse employees
• Help to update health and safety requirements for the office when appropriate
• Miscellaneous errands may be required
• Serve as main point of contact and front desk of the office, acting as a liaison with internal and external customers, vendors, and
team members, interacting with them in a professional and timely manner
• Other admin duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an administrative or customer service role
• Must be extremely organized, proactive, responsible, resourceful, team player and possess strong communication skills
• Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
• Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities and deadlines
