Intern with an Impact Strategy Company/ Los Angeles
blank space is a Los Angeles based start-up impact and media strategy company at the intersection of impact, business, and entertainment culture. Working with influencers, visionaries, media companies and businesses, we combine social impact expertise with cultural insight to guide purpose-driven media content, impact storytelling and branding that starts with the why.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Intern to assist with general administrative duties, data entry, communications support and database development. In this startup environment we wear many different hats from talent management to business strategy so there will be plenty of opportunities to expand your skill set. We are looking for a high energy, goal oriented, positive candidate who is computer savvy with a keen eye for detail in a fast paced environment. An accountable self-starter, our ideal candidate sets and meets goals working autonomously and remotely, and has a proven track record of being a team player who values integrity and opportunities to learn and grow.

Your Responsibilities
- General administrative duties, i.e., scheduling, coordinating travel, errands, data entry, reporting
- Assist in development and maintenance of various databases relating to clients, markets, contacts and creating a digital database record system. This includes data entry and creating and updating source documents.
- Generate press and comms reports
- Immersion into current global news entertainment and impact space, that includes limited research and client support
Your Qualifications
- Ability to take direction and work autonomously in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, managing many different projects at once
- Well versed in computer and microsoft office tools like (MS Office Word, Excel, PPT etc.)
- Additional skills in web development, graphic design experience or tech related a plus
- Basic understanding of database creation
- Strong Communications skills, written and speaking with an attention to grammar
- Access to transportation such as a car a plus for ease of office errands
- Great attention to detail
- High school degree, higher education is a plus, as well as current undergraduate / graduate students
Freelance position with incredible growth opportunity. 20-25+ hours a week. Flexible hours.
