Part Time Job
Black Valley Films is looking for a part-time Office Assistant to assist an Academy Award nominated filmmaker.

This is a job for someone who is highly organized, motivated and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
If hired, you will be tasked with running several facets of an independent film production company in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Mac computers, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Experience managing schedules and coordinating availabilities for calls and events
Great communication skills, especially on the phone
Preferences:
Production Manager/coordinator knowledge of running a set is a big bonus
Familiarity with Adobe Programs (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
An interest in DIY production, marketing and distribution of films, especially documentaries
Comfortable with quickbooks and basic banking
Experience rolling calls
Location: Home office in Silver Lake area
Hours: Some flexibility, but should be Mon, Wed, Fri 9-6 or 10-7 (hour off for lunch)
If we are working well together and we are busy enough, the position could be increased to five days a week.
Salary: Hourly based on experience ($18-25 range, even starting a bit lower and going up after a set amount of time if we are working well)
The position will often have 1-2 interns who will help assist with your work.
