THE BRIEF
You'll get the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented folks in the industry on innovative VFX projects.
Your main role will be managing projects including, assigning work to artists, setting deadlines, creating calendars, collecting, distilling and passing notes, tracking shots, being on client calls etc. However the role will also include more general admin duties as well such as setting office meetings, taking part in research for pitches, and overall organization for studio materials physical and digital.
You must have the drive to work hard, late or weekends if needed, and to put the team above yourself. You also pride yourself on the quality of your work and work faster than most competent people think possible. Result driven.
Opportunity to grow quickly with the company expanding into larger roles and be recognized/rewarded for merit.
Ping pong skills not required but definitely handy.
THE REST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setting up and managing tracking shots
Creating and constantly maintaining Guidelines and documentation for every process
Managing the artist team, schedules, output and deadlines
Efficient response time to client queries and requests
Helping make the work flow more efficient, suggesting ideas, and helping improve all aspects of the VFX/CG department.
Pitching on projects and compiling reference material
Organizing behind the scenes and vfx breakdown materials for creating Case Study videos
Wrangling meetings, calls and catalogued summaries of all production meetings
Compiling credit list and PR details at job wrap
Assisting with sourcing and reviewing new artists to bring on.
REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years as a VFX production manager or similar role such as associate producer.
Complete and solid understanding of the full CG pipeline. (Rigging, anim, fx, etc)
Proficient in Photoshop, Premiere & After Effects
Highly motivated and passionate about the work.
SKILLS:
Ability to work well under pressure
Motivated and willing to take initiative
Attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile
Highly organized
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task many details of a high paced workload, while maintaining a strategic and organized workflow
Skilled at time management, organization, meet deadlines and anticipate problems before they occur.
Strong collaborative skills
Able to take direction but also proactive in making suggestions and finding solutions
