Intern - Creative

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

A Casting Director/Writer/Producer is seeking a reliable, resourceful and self-motivated individual as a personal assistant to work on several upcoming film, book and various creative projects. In addition, the intern will provide heavy administrative and creative as it relates to the non-profit organization that she runs part-time. This is a very unique position for someone who wants to build hand-on experience and strong contacts to further their own career. Experience gained will include pre-production tasks such as casting along with research, writing, fundraising, event planning, along with a host of other creative, business and administrative tasks. GREAT WAY TO MAKE ENTERTAINMENT CONTACTS AND ADD A WELL-CONNECTED MENTOR TO YOUR TEAM.

Responsibilities include research online, scheduling and attending meetings, running errands, preparing and typing up documents, and assisting with pre-pre-production for film and various creative projects. Major phone and email communication with Writer/Producer.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 6-month commitment (1-year preferred)
- Must have 24-HR access to computer and internet
- Must be highly organized
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Great interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation & live in Los Angeles County
- Must be excellent with using Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to take direction and work independently
- Must be passionate about diversity and a great brainstormer
