Big Picture Entertainment, an award-winning entertainment marketing agency, seeks an Accounts Payable and Business Analyst to join the Finance team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking and flexible, with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail. This position offers significant growth in mastering business management and financial analysis, working directly with the CFO to continually optimize the company's finance and operations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, report, reconcile, journal, and project outgoing cash; issue payments.
Perform business efficiency, project, and variance analyses to monitor progress towards company financial goals, recommending improvements accordingly.
Review vendor contracts to ensure that services were satisfactorily rendered.
Organize financial and tax records; assist CFO with reconciliations and cost analyses relating to tax and insurance reporting.
Assist in managing company database to ensure accurate records.
Assist in managing chart of accounts
Ad hoc HR and Finance requests as needed
Qualifications:
Degree in finance or accounting strongly preferred. Other degrees will be considered but must have 1+ years of relevant experience.
Fluency in Microsoft Office.
Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Must exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics; must be discrete and able to maintain confidential information.
Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
Willingness to tackle matters outside area of expertise and be a collaborative team player.
Eager to learn and grow professionally.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
