Job Title: Reporting Manager
Direct Report of: Team Leader
SUMMARY
BMLG uses data from multiple sources to drive success across the organization. The Label Resources Reporting Manager will be responsible for consolidating data from multiple sources so that the information can be surfaced to BMLG teams in a logical, graphical and actionable format. This role will oversee reporting for airplay, consumption, social statistics and more with a focus on developing streamlined and automated processes where applicable.
Skills We Need:
Essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A natural process improvement mindset with a passion for the details
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable
• Music industry experience
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau
• SQL skills
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Deliver regularly scheduled, pre-designed reports to key departments
• Develop ad hoc reports as needed
• Provide suggestions to enhance data distribution
• Enhance process improvements by utilizing technology
• Examine data to identify anomalies and inconsistencies to facilitate summary information to stakeholders
• Support various departments, including marketing, promotions, sales and more in reaching their data and analysis goals
• Support Label Resources in a project management capacity for the rollout of specific technology platforms and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, information systems or a related field
• Advanced computer proficiency
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel in an analytics/numbers-based position
• Exeptional computer skills and proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which are all necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports, for the various assigned departmental heads, management, and stakeholders
