Part Time Paid Internship
Big Breakfast/CollegeHumor is hiring interns for Summer 2018 to work in the post production department. We're looking for current undergraduate students available to work May-September.
Purpose:
To provide interns with a unique, hands-on post-production experience and cultivate a new generation of CollegeHumor personnel.

Big Breakfast is a team of funny, passionate, and collaborative people dedicated to creating the world's best comedy content. The company is best known for CollegeHumor Originals, the #1 most-viewed comedy channel on YouTube, as well as TruTV's ''Adam Ruins Everything'', Pop TV's ''Hot Date'', and a variety of other award-winning digital content. Big Breakfast post production Interns have an opportunity to contribute and work with a team of post production professionals including Post Supervisors, Editors, and Assistant Editors, and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of post production.
For applicants with a strong interest in pursuing careers in post production, this opportunity is a great fit. Interns report to the Post Production Supervisor and the Post Production Systems Engineer, and have direct collaboration with Assistant Editors and Editors on CollegeHumor and other Big Breakfast content.
A typical day of post-production includes:
- Assistant editing CollegeHumor sketches, including ingesting, transcoding, syncing, and logging footage
- General department upkeep such as media management, organizing inventories, spreadsheets and other documentation, hard drives, cabling, and other hardware, and general office organization
- Assisting with media archival, including working with our LTO systems
- Technical troubleshooting on department computers and other hardware
- Working with many different camera formats including DSLR's and RED camera workflows
- When possible, providing editorial assistance on videos, such as accomplishing notes and exporting cuts
Requirements:
- A strong interest in post production
- Experience working with Adobe Premiere as an editor and/or assistant editor
- Familiarity with CollegeHumor content and brand
Schedule:
Two or more days per week required, 10am-6pm in our West Hollywood office
This is a paid internship for up to 40 hours a week (minimum wage)
