Position: Jr. Post Coordinator
Reports to: Post Production Supervisor
This is a freelance junior post coordinating position for Big Breakfast/CollegeHumor. We are not looking for a writer or performer who coordinates on the side, but rather someone with an appreciation for comedy who is pursuing a professional career in post production.
This position will assist Post Supervisor and Post Coordinators in the tracking and management of calendars, assets, deliverables, and paperwork for Big Breakfast/CollegeHumor content. We are looking for someone with experience as Post PA or Post Coordinator, who is hard working, detail-oriented, and well versed in digital post production workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Update calendars and tracker sheets for assigned projects, communicating with editors, vendors, supervisors, and creative teams, to move projects down the pipeline
• Send out review links to directors, producers, and creative teams, and track notes
• QC deliverables and exports
• Upload assets to FTPs and video review platforms
• Manage start paperwork, timecards, and invoices, for vendors and freelance hires
• File and organize post production paperwork such as music cue sheets, credits lists, and other metadata
• Track receipts and fill out expense reports
• Manage internal department calendars, schedule meetings, conference calls, review sessions, and VO/ADR sessions
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years in Post Production, as a Post PA or Post Coordinator
• Must be able to work in our West Hollywood office Monday-Friday during normal business hours (10am-6pm)
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and independently
• Strong understanding of digital post production workflow
• Can work positively and collaboratively with editors, producers, directors, etc.
• Great organizational skills
• Comedic sensibility a plus
