Big Beach is seeking a VP, Development/Production to help drive the next phase of the company's creative slate. Working closely with the company's Partners and Senior Producers, and overseeing a Director of Development, the role will help steward and expand a portfolio of distinctive film and television projects. The VP will play a central role in both advancing the company's existing slate and originating high-level opportunities that can shape its future projects.
The VP will cultivate relationships with writers, directors, agents, publishers, and other creative partners, helping to identify exceptional material and guide projects through development and early packaging.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional creative taste with strong industry relationships and an entrepreneurial instinct for identifying projects that can become meaningful films or series. This is a senior creative role within a collaborative company.
