Search for Senior HR Manager jobs in London-UK
Our client, a well known TV company, is looking for a dynamic Senior HR Manager to join their London team. This role will be responsible for setting and implementing the People Policy at the company and will provide proactive and comprehensive HR support within the business;
This is a key role in driving the culture of the company therefore we are looking for someone with the confidence to influence and challenge.
This is a stand-alone role and key responsibilities include:
Strategy and policy setting.
Build and maintain effective relationships with key business stakeholders.
Act as a coach to key business stakeholders providing them with support, advice, guidance, skills and tools to proactively manage their teams effectively; driving a high-performance and entrepreneurial culture and building line management capability.
Manage joiners and leavers.
Provide proactive, accurate and effective HR support and advice to managers and employees, advising on a wide variety of issues including probationary periods, maternity and flexible working.
Manage grievances, disciplinaries and capability investigations and meetings.
Ensure that regulatory and legal statutory requirements are met, continue to ensure relevant legal knowledge is maintained.
Develop and own HR projects and initiatives within the business, including action plans for creating positive cultural changes, engagement survey feedback, diversity and inclusion and health and wellbeing at work.
Manage regular HR processes including pay, bonus and performance reviews.
Support the recruitment and resourcing requirements.
Work with Finance to deliver the annual people budget and forecast.
Supply people metrics to the Leadership team as required.
Manage holiday and absence, including sickness and related insurance claims.
Work with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure monthly payroll is correct.
Review and administer the employee benefits and incentives.
Requirements:
CIPD or (or equivalent qualification).
Experience working in a high performing and fast paced organisation as an experienced HR Manager or Senior Manager, 5-7 years' experience minimum
Experienced understanding of HR operational processes.
Excellent knowledge of current employment law with proven ability to run employee relations/change management processes.
Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Confident communicator with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
IT proficient and used to the preparation of presentations to all levels of seniority.
Experience in TMT sector preferred.
