BET Digital is looking for an individual who will be a key part of the Audience Development team who is a creative, growth-oriented, and data-driven marketer with a proven track record of developing audiences and increasing engagement on social media platforms. This individual will be focused on delivering measurable results and developing actionable insights and analysis. The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience developing, planning, launching, and analyzing digital customer acquisition & engagement campaigns, and a strong familiarity with performance marketing concepts such as ROI, LTV, etc.
Responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of the BET Digital audiences from each distribution channel to formulate audience growth strategies based on campaign performance and cohort analysis.
• Plan and execute impactful audience growth campaigns across various social media channels – including: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
• Generate innovative ideas with a particular focus on expanding BET Digital’s presence and audience engagement across all social media platforms.
• Utilize social media analytics to ensure maximum performance as well as to monitor the success of social media initiatives and campaigns, adjusting campaign strategy based on real-time insights
• Communicate performance benchmarking and optimization opportunities to teams within the BET Digital organization as well as to various counterparts in Viacom Inc.
• Research and share new industry trends, competitive social media wins and ensure that BET Digital remains up to speed with new platform offerings.
Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
• At least 5-7 years of experience working with social media data to identify key metrics that indicate growth potential, executing social media campaigns that lead to significant audience growth, and proven success of building reports to help distribute quantitative learnings to various constituents in an organization.
Additional Qualifications
• Firm knowledge of analytics platforms (AdWords, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Facebook Business Manager/Power Editor, social media insights platforms such as Sprinklr, Sailthru Analytics), testing tools, and SDK integrations.
• Familiarity with competitive research tools such as comScore and SimilarWeb.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and an extraordinary attention to detail.
• Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
