BET Networks seeks a production executive to join the Original Programming Unscripted Team as Production Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Director of Unscripted Production based in Los Angeles, CA.
• The role will be working in all aspects of unscripted production for series and pilot productions including locations, production planning, crew staffing, scheduling, budgeting, production and post-production.
• Managing & maintaining production calendars, call sheets, contact lists, cost & production reports.
• Working closely with colleagues within the organization to manage each project efficiently from pre-production though the show final delivery.
• Managing the Scenechronize process which includes; setup, updates and maintenance of show related content for all unscripted shows.
• Booking and managing travel for Sr. Director.
• Handling credentials as needed.
• Managing the insurance setup for all new productions.
• Vetting show credits.
• Overseeing production wrap deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail, which will ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of the television industry and desire to learn how each department interfaces to create media on a linear platform.
• Extremely goal-oriented with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in related field is desired or equivalent experience
• A high energy level and the ability to manage through a period of change and growth.
• Knowledge of Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling and Scenechronize a plus, but not required.
• A passion for the quality of programming that airs on the network.
