BET is the new subscription VOD service from BET Networks, targeting African Americans and lovers of Black content. Launching fall 2019, BET will offer an array of premium content, including fan-favorite film, tv series, and specials and exclusive originals from Tyler Perry, Will Packer, Tracy Oliver, and many more.
The BET Partnership team is seeking a Coordinator to help support cross-platform promotional opportunities for its apps and SVOD channels. This role requires someone with excellent social skills, attention to detail and ability to effectively project manage. The job will work closely with internal and external partners.
The Coordinator should be an innovative problem solver with experience managing partner promotions and marketing from concept and launch through optimization and post-mortem reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate asset collection, spec confirmations, & submission of assets to partners for key app launches, promotional offers, marketing tentpoles and content premieres
• Collaborate with creative teams to establish asset timelines and ensure organized asset delivery to external partners
• Create and present materials (i.e. decks, one sheets, business overviews, etc.) for partners, internal partners, and business reviews
• Manage content calendars, promotion tracking timelines for network & app promotions
• Track promotions across all SVOD & OTT platforms
• Review app marketplaces to flag pirated content for removal from app stores
• Support partnership team with post-mortems and recap presentations by pulling reporting and documenting insights
• Coordinate key partner meetings and document meetings for internal updates meetings notes
• Monitor OTT business landscape and competitor promotion to present updates internally
• Brainstorm promotional tentpole moments across SVOD, apps, channels, ebooks, podcast businesses
• Collaborate with internal teams to create cross-platform moments aligned with BET priorities
• Identify new promotion and optimization opportunities to improve engagement and subscriber acquisition
• Drive new ideas and processes to improve quality and efficiency
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field (strong internship experience considered)

• Strong project management and interpersonal competence, with ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Able to plan efficiently and meet deadlines for projects
• Ability to work in high intensity situations while remaining positive and adaptable

• Communicate professionally and effectively in all formats (in person, zoom, over email/chat) across departments and all levels of the organization
