ORGANIZATION:
The Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit arts organization serving Bergen County and the greater northern New Jersey region, hosting approximately 200 live performances annually, covering a wide range of contemporary, cultural, and educational events.
POSITION: Executive Assistant to the CEO (Entry Level/Full Time)
SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external matters pertaining to the CEO. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the board of directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Providing daily support to the CEO. Functions will include managing the CEO's calendar, projects, research, meeting minutes, etc.
• Working closely with all departments on an as-needed basis to complete tasks
• Office management
• Setup and execution of quarterly Board Meetings; and monthly Staff Meetings.
• Management of ticket donation program.
• Management of outdoor collateral, which include the theater marquee, video boards, and poster boards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The applicant should be familiar with Microsoft Office.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Experience working in an office setting
Salary commensurate with experience.
