ART DEPARTMENT LEAD/LIVE ACTION CHILDREN'S SHOW
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to Problem Solve and Create Alternative Solutions in an effort to not hinder Production Schedules or Deadlines.
Work with Fabrication Supervisor to help Manage Design Team Including Workload, Quality of Work and Production Schedule.(Hard Fabrication, Textiles, Model Painting, Greens, & Set Dressing)
Ensure Departments have Necessary Supplies by Communication to Purchaser for Timely Delivery and Production Schedule.
Ability to See Scheduling Issues in Advance to Eliminate Problems in Workflow.
Ability to Manage Multiple Projects at the Same Time.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior Experience as an Art Department Lead, Coordinator, or Department Manager.
Prior Set Building Experience and Miniature Set Construction Necessary.
Prop/Set Painting and Attention to Detail.
Extensive Knowledge of Materials and Work Flow Processes Suitable for Stop Motion or Puppetry Stages.
Supervising and Working with Carpentry and Set Design Crews.
Vast Experience with Hand Tools and Carpentry Shop Equipment.
Knowing When and How to say YES or NO and Offer Alternative Solutions to a Problem.
Highly Detailed, Self Starter, Punctual and a Strong Work Ethic.
Excellent Communication Skills Among Staff and Associates.
Ability to Maintain a Positive Attitude While Working in a Fast Paced Environment.
