Search for Winter Intern - Music Industry jobs in Culver City-CA
Benchmob offers digital and creative strategy to some of the biggest artists and management companies in music.
We are looking for first or second year students majoring in Marketing, Visual Arts, Communications, Music, Design, Photography, Videography or Animation to work with the team in Culver City part time at 2-3 days per week.
Ideal candidates will live and breath the internet and have great taste across music, art and culture. They will be well organised, responsible and have consistent attention to detail.
At the end of your internship you will prepare a complete digital marketing campaign for a release and/or tour and present it to the Benchmob team.
Applications will be accepted between October 24, 2018 and November 26, 2018.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorming creative ideas for clients
- Creating daily lists of culturally relevant content
- Research and provide valuable insights on digital and social trends
- Assist in finding and creating social media assets such as memes, Instagram stories, videos and more
- Update social calendars, tour dates and other company documents
- Working directly with the Benchmob Founder and Head of Strategy, Creative Director, General Manager and Account Managers
- Attending shows with the team and loads of free shows around LA
Requirements
- Passionate about music
- Excellent taste in music, art and culture
- Ideally able to receive course credit
- Social Media savvy
Skills
- Required - Google Apps Suite, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), iMovie
- Preferred - Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects
Duration
- 2019 Winter Internship Program is from January 7 - March 15, 2019 (10 weeks total)
- Part time 2-3 days week
- Flexible hours
- Unpaid
