JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will be responsible for managing workflow, assisting in the assignment and oversight of Motion Graphics' projects and maintaining clear communication between graphic artists, other teams within the Post-Production group and other related teams at Beachbody and Openfit. The ability to oversee multiple timeframes for a wide range of fast-moving projects and to address the needs of a diverse team of staff and freelance graphic artists is essential to succeeding in this pivotal role.
• Establish and maintain good, open communication between motion graphics artists and creative teams of directors, producers and editors, with an emphasis on well-defined creative direction at the start of projects and timelines for requests, revisions and approvals until deliveries are complete.
• Project manage all graphic assignments to ensure approvals are received and deadlines are met.
• Manage assets for graphic artists based on editors' needs and director/producer/product development's specifications.
• Coordinate asset hand-offs, deliveries, specifications and related details between Motion Graphics and the Creative department.
• Manage graphic artists' workloads, process timecards and secure overtime approvals as needed.
• Customize, revise, and version motion graphics projects created in After Effects by graphic artists.
• Assist Art Director and Executive Director of Post-Production in assigning artists to projects.
• Collaborate and troubleshoot post-production workflows to increase communication and efficiency between graphic artists and editors.
• Manage Brand guides and related color palettes, fonts and look/feel for Beachbody and Openfit products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Years of relevant experience: 2-5
Education required/preferred: Bachelor's or equivalent
Experience required: Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator), Universal Type Client, Slack, Microsoft Office 365.
Experience preferred: Trello, Google Suite, Frame.io, Smartsheet, Signiant
