Post Operations Accounting Specialist
Track costs on a per project basis and provide accurate reporting in a timely fashion.
Ensure vendors and consultants are paid on time according to the terms of their agreement.
Develop procedures with internal teams and departments to help manage project budgets.
Facilitate communication and interaction between Post Operations and Production Accounting to ensure that purchase orders have been created and updated as needed.
Tasks & Activities
-Work with Post Operations/Production to gather information on upcoming projects
-Assisting with trafficking between post and third-party vendors
-Ensure the accuracy of invoices, timecards, estimates
-Partner with stakeholders to identify overages in advance
-Keep records of all requests, notes and approvals
-Reconcile monthly AMEX reports.
-Communicate with related departments to identify post-production needs and manage annual events calendar
-Assist with setting up departmental meetings and ongoing communications
Required Skills
-Must have working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
-Awareness of details, complexities and legilities of business and corporate accounting.
-Combines critical thinking, practical experience, and ability to reason in a holistic approach to problem solving.
-Motivated, articulate, ability to communicate succinctly in writing.
-Ability to establish and meet deadlines, developing clear priorities quickly
-Strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Works well in fast-paced, high stress environments.
-Maintains calm and solution-oriented focus.
-Self-motivated, highly independent
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite
