Search for Sr. HR Coordinator/Recruiter jobs in El Segundo-CA
** Must have a minimum of two years experience in a full cycle recruitment role. Experience with HR and Payroll a plus.
Reporting into the Human Resources Manager, the Recruiter/HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day to day needs of HR, recruiting and Payroll.
* Serve as initial point of contact for basic HR and Payroll inquiries.
* Ensure timely submission of hourly timesheets, verify accuracy, and enter hours into payroll system by cutoff.
* Support HR projects and initiatives, such as open enrollment, 401K enrollment, promotion processes, performance management, policy implementation, and process improvements.
* Support recruiting projects and initiatives, such as preparation and posting open roles to internal and external job boards, interview scheduling and providing follow-up correspondence to candidates.
* Serve as point-of-contact for candidates and interview teams regarding interview schedules, changes, etc.
* Process employee changes in payroll and HRIS systems, including salary, 401K, reporting, etc.
* Support new hire on-boarding process including coordinating new hire start dates and scheduling new hire orientations.
* Review pre-employee paperwork for accuracy and completeness; manage candidate new hire paperwork (I-9, data forms, etc.) and ensure accurate filing in digital filing system.
* Support Office Manager and Executive Assistant with employee engagement events, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
* Support additional HR, Payroll and Recruiting-related tasks as necessary.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* 2+ years of experience in human resources with Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum 2+ years supporting the full cycle recruiting process.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with solid grammar.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage data ensuring accuracy and integrity.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and work with all levels across an organization.
* Able to handle confidential matters and sensitive data.
* Problem solving skills with a can-do attitude.
* A sense of urgency paired with a strong ability to prioritize multiple timelines and demands.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
*Experience using social media campaigns to drive recruiting results.
*Experience with Sharefile.
*Experience supporting HR/recruitment processes in a high growth Startup.
*Experience with Trinet and/or ADP and/or converting away from a PEO.
