Production Internship
We are a small, grassroots multimedia, new media & digital marketing production company with an education, nonprofit and live events element as well. At the moment we are in the process of rebuilding our brand after CoVid and putting several of our projects back into production. We are looking for a few Production Assistants (interns) to come onboard and assist us with our indie films & tv presentations, webseries & podcasts, staged shows, publishing and acting workshops/classes matters, non-profit outreach, etc.
This is a completely REMOTE internship at the present time. If you are interested in working remotely here are some of the areas we need assistants in:
1) Casting (submission/auditions/etc.)
2) Publishing (book proofing/editing, newsletter/e-zine creation, etc.)
3) Communications (social media/marketing/press, etc.)
4) Sales (lead building/networking, production aggregation, etc.)
5) Events (creation/coordination, virtual/remote/live, etc.)
6) Acting School (outreach, email responses, etc.)
7) Grants/Nonprofit (research/organize/network/etc.)
8) Wed site designer (knowledge of wix, wordpress, or like sites)
Again, these are REMOTE (''stay safe in place'') positions with no experience necessary (but Please mention if you have any previous experience in whichever area you are interested in). All we ask is that interns must be willing to learn and assist where needed!
Applicants may be a student in college (accredited institution or not), recent grad or someone starting over after CoVid, but you must be ready to ''hit the ground running'' once we bring you onto the team. This internship (or externship, if not in college) can be for credits or to just gain knowledge of independent production.
Commitment is minimal, 5 hours a week (minimum) working virtually via our videoconference link, initially, and email/online chats/etc. If one of the positions outlined above interests you, please contact us and tell us about yourself (via cover/resume) and why you are looking to intern as well as when you can start.
Our internships last for a semester (or 2 quarters) up to a year, and start in ASAP. Again, students and non-students are welcome to apply. Women, POC (People of Color) and the LGBTQ community members are strongly encouraged to apply.
