Facilities Maintenance Lead
Who You Are:
A rewarding opportunity currently exists for a Maintenance/Grounds Lead to join our studio team! Bang Zoom! Studios is looking for someone who's attention to detail and organizational skills are second nature. And is super nice, of course! You will play a pivotal role in general maintenance duties relating to the studio, facilities, and grounds. This is a customer-focused role where you will be working with our team to ensure the facilities are consistently well maintained to the satisfaction of a world-renowned studio. Some of the tasks involved in this role include Accommodations/Building- general maintenance: including landscaping, upkeeping of studio's, and ensuring safety measures.

Maintenance Lead will:
Demonstrate experience in undertaking a wide range of building and grounds maintenance. Trade qualifications are highly desirable; Previous experience in maintenance support, Chemical handling experience, and knowledge; Excellent customer service; Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal); This role offers the opportunity to lead, guide, and motivate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise any maintenance/facilities projects, especially when outside vendors are used
Perform facilities duties: such as and not limited to carpentry, painting, landscaping, custodial, handyman duties, develop facilities expansions, roof maintenance, safety officer, etc.
Must be comfortable using power tools.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for the facilities and equipment.
Provide hands-on assistance with maintenance and repair activities when needed.
Complies with all Company Safety Policies and Practices at all times.
Purchases parts and supplies for any maintenance and facility's needs.
Oversee the maintenance of machinery, studio equipment, and facilities. Recommend equipment changes to improve overall results for the company.
Maintain and make sure the facility needs are met by relying on skills and or the contracting of outside vendors
Be the company's face to all vendors working in the building and provide quick, cost-effective, reliable research on vendors.
Evaluate and assist with client requests promptly.
Other responsibilities add at the discretion of Management.
Skills/Experience Required:
Post Production facilities experience preferred
Client facing and heavy customer service experience a must
Operating within changing client schedules and facilities use.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. In addition, the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee may also be required to lift a product or equipment weighing 60 lbs+ or more.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position works standard business hours but may require long hours and some weekend work.
Travel:
Travel within the 3 locations is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay range: $20 to $27 per hour with benefits.
