JOB DESCRIPTION
The Account Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of an artist's account. He or she will work closely with artist and management and internal executives to lead merchandise development for tour, e-commerce and retail.
This position reports to the Director of Artist Relations.
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of revenue generation related to multiple artists.
• Work closely with management to develop product lines for tour, ecomm, and special projects
• Work with wholesale & licensing department to develop retail product line.
• Interfaces with various levels of client representation (business manager, attorney, day-to-day, etc.) and maintains a client-centric, positive attitude.
• Handle SKU creation, inventory management, product orders and other data entry heavy tasks
• Running and analyzing sales reports and creating quotes in FDM4
• Work internally with cross-functional teams including design, production, touring and retail.
• Think of new and creative ways to add incremental revenue for Bandmerch clients.
• Aid e-commerce team in handling web promotions and marketing
• Simultaneously manage projects, deadlines and scheduling for multiple clients.
• Works closely with President and communicates to executives and other key stakeholders the strategies, vision and roadmap for future plans and provides ongoing status updates across initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
• 3-5 years of prior account management experience
• Merchandising experience in music/creative/entertainment industries a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently
• FDM4/Shopify/Netsuite experience a plus
• Understanding of Profit and Loss and financial drivers
• A high level of initiative, drive and a significant sense of personal ownership
• Ability to establish/maintain credibility with various external and internal stakeholders
• Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Technology friendly and savvy
• Ability to articulate results, goals and objectives verbally and in written word
• Identifies and solves problems without letting ''road blocks'' stall problem-solving process
• Demonstrates professionalism, propriety and product knowledge in interactions with colleagues, customers, vendors
