Position Overview
The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a strategic, results-driven Vice President, Integrated Marketing to lead the development and execution of fan-facing campaigns and programs that deepen engagement and drive ticket sales across season plans, group sales, and single-game attendance. This person will lead and unify the club's advertising, digital, promotional, experiential, and fan engagement efforts.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role oversees a team of four direct reports and is responsible for translating business priorities and brand direction into coordinated, high-impact marketing efforts-ensuring every campaign is aligned, measurable, and emotionally resonant with Orioles fans.
The Vice President will be responsible for carrying out a fully integrated brand campaign, ensuring that all marketing activations and consumer touchpoints align with that vision. This requires strong operational discipline, revenue-driven strategy, creative collaboration, and a sharp eye for brand consistency.
This role is ideal for a proven leader who can balance performance marketing with long-term brand equity, energize teams, and champion innovation – all while keeping the fan at the center of every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Consumer-Focused Marketing:
• Serve as the lead marketing partner to the Ticket Sales and Service team to drive season, group, premium, and single-game ticket revenue.
• Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support ticketing goals.
• Apply audience segmentation, analytics, and A/B testing to maximize effectiveness.
Integrated Campaigns & Promotions:
• Build and manage the seasonal campaign calendar, integrating key ticketing initiatives, retail drops, brand moments, and fan engagement events.
• Lead the planning and rollout of ballpark promotions, giveaways, and theme nights-ensuring experiences are engaging, well-timed, and revenue-supportive.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce compelling creative assets and messaging for each initiative.
• Drive partnerships with community groups and organizations to ensure the Orioles brand is showing up in a positive and authentic way.
Digital, Email, SMS, Website & App Strategy:
• Lead marketing strategy across Orioles.com, the Ballpark mobile app, email/CRM, and SMS.
• Oversee the email and SMS calendar across business lines, using segmentation and automation to drive engagement.
• Partner with MLB to ensure the website and app offer a best-in-class fan experience and conversion flow.
• Leverage analytics to optimize messaging, content, and campaign performance across digital platforms.
Fan Experience & Audience Development:
• Shape and execute campaigns that connect the team and players to the fans
• Proactively and authentically reach and collaborate with communities in the Baltimore DMA that diversify the Orioles fan base
• Ensure all touchpoints-from entry gates to digital screens to concourse engagement-reflect the Orioles brand and elevate the fan journey.
• Collaborate closely with Ballpark Operations, Game Presentation, Partnerships, and Community Impact to build cohesive and meaningful fan moments.
• Prioritize experiences that make fans feel valued, excited, and connected to the team.
Brand Execution & Management:
• Collaborating with the VP, Brand & Content to ensure consistency in how the brand comes to life in various platforms including owned and operated media, paid and digital media, and grassroots marketing verticals.
• Partner with the Brand & Content and Game Presentation teams to uphold tone, voice, and visual identity across channels.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Marketing, Ticket Sales & Service, Strategy & Analytics, Corporate Partnerships, Community and Government Affairs, and Ballpark Operations.
• Lead campaign performance tracking and optimization, adjusting strategies in real time.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Growth in ticket sales across season, group, premium, and single-game categories
• Increased engagement and conversion through email and SMS
• Website and app traffic, behavior, and conversions
• Fan database growth and campaign personalization effectiveness
• ROI on paid, digital, and promotional campaigns
• Consistent execution of brand standards across all activations
• Positive fan experience scores and marketing-led activations
Qualifications
• 12 years of experience in integrated or consumer marketing, preferably in sports, entertainment, or live events.
• 5 years of senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Proven success delivering campaigns that generate measurable business outcomes.
• Expertise in digital marketing, CRM/email, and mobile marketing strategy.
• Strong leadership and team management experience across diverse marketing functions.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and project management skills.
• Deep understanding of data-driven marketing and fan behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with ticket sales or e-commerce teams to drive measurable conversions.
• Familiarity with MLB digital infrastructure and ticketing systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

The anticipated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity.
