Audacy AmperWave streaming team is looking for a Video Technical Support Engineer. In this role, you’ll support our internal customers’ needs including the installation, maintenance, and daily product support of our video tools and service. In addition to being responsible for general support related activities you will also interface with Engineering and Product on a regular basis, learning a ton about the business and various technologies. The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based & remote individuals expressing interest in this position is $80,000-$85,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• General help-desk support and knowledge-base management.
• Partner directly with our video production studios to install and configure software and train new users on our platform.
• Become an expert with our video production, video delivery, ad serving, and all related services such as CMS, players and 3 rd party systems.
• Intermediate configuration and support of advanced video equipment
• Responsible for restoration of video and operational issues, troubleshooting and providing technical mitigations to operational problems
• Interact with vendors and internal Audacy teams to mitigate and resolve issues quickly
• Create and maintain documentation for internal and external needs.
• Learn and use web-related technologies, such as JavaScripting, API troubleshooting and more.
• Assist as needed in special projects ranging from data entry to building custom tools or reports.
Qualifications
More About You:
Required:
• Ability to work on remote video equipment and to take initiative to learn multiple video systems, devices and architectures in in a faced paced, quick restoration focused environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills combined with the ability to communicate with users at all levels and varying technical ability
• Basic understanding of web technologies and techniques such as JavaScript, HTML
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of support best practices
• Proactive, empathetic, team player who is responsive to customer needs and concerns
• Excellent time management, organization skills, and the ability to balance competing tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• A solid grasp of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Enthusiasm for exploring and learning new technology
• Experience in the radio broadcast, streaming industry or audio engineering is a plus
Preferred:
• Associates degree in a Computer Science/Information Technology related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting video delivery or video applications, networks or systems
