Audacy, Inc.; a scaled, multi-platform audio content and entertainment company has an immediate opening for a talented, experienced talent coach for our performers and entertainers. You’ll have an opportunity to work with a variety of targeted sports, talk and music shows throughout the country.
This job will be working with markets across the company and can be remote so long as you’re in a commutable proximity to any of our physical market locations.
Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
• Win in a competitive landscape with enthusiasm: You’ll set high standards for yourself and those you will be working with.
• Responsible for the coaching, growth and performance of music, news /talk and sports talent.
• Responsible for the coaching and growth of Brand Managers, Producers, News Directors as it pertains to their talent and hosts.
• Show by example the importance of the relationship between talent, the brand manager, the audience and community.
• Understand the right balance of topics, news and lifestyle for the target audience and how to use social media and digital platforms to further discussion.
• Understand the dynamics and abilities in multi person shows and how to use them to grow and keep audience.
• Ensure that programming and multi-media strategies are serving the needs and interests of the station audiences and local community.
• Responsible for adherence and compliance to Company program standards and FCC regulations.
• Work in concert with local programming and talent to create an environment of constant creation & implementation of dual purpose ideas that grow ratings and revenue.
• Work with central programming on talent recruitment and development
• Establish long-range plans. Set goals, measure performance and show audience growth through all relevant analytical tools.
• Maintains on-going communications with central and local programming.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
About You and Your Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience directly working and developing talent, and be able to cite examples
• Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills.
• You should know how to win in the PPM universe.
• You’re a proven great leader and coach that can energize the people they work with.
• You understand how a “creative” thinks and what they respond to.
• You must be a great creative resource. Armed with creativity, passion and intelligence. You have a tireless work ethic and uncompromising integrity.
• Major Market Experience Preferred but not mandatory.
• Film, TV or theater experience is a plus.
