Overview:
A Radio Engineer, designs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots radio transmission systems and equipment. They work with systems that utilize radio waves for communication, ensuring optimal signal strength and quality. Their responsibilities include designing and implementing radio transmission systems, monitoring and optimizing performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Designing, testing and implementing wireless communication systems
• Maintaining broadcast systems to function efficiently
• Analyzing user requirements
• Conducting tests to ensure systems are functioning
• Troubleshooting and solving technical issues
• Primary contact for workstations, studio tech, and working closely with our computer IT corporate department
• Good understanding of communication protocols, signal processing techniques and network architectures
• Site visits and surveys, data collection and system troubleshooting
• Communicating with clients and vendors
• Collaborating with other engineers, technicians and managers
• Attend training sessions on new software, technology, etc.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, information technology or related field
• Strong mathematics skills
• Strong technical skills 3-5 years Management experience
• In-depth understanding of wireless communication technologies
• Attention to detail Analytical thinking
• Project management
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
