Podcorn is hiring an experienced and entrepreneurial Director of Brand Partnerships to create new business opportunities with leading ad agencies and direct advertisers. In this role, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives as well as develop new relationships and act as a trusted business partner to deeply understand the client's unique company challenges and goals. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and strong understanding of influencer marketing and digital advertising, and an ability to creatively package scaled content for impactful client executions. A clear understanding of the influencer and podcast space preferred.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Lead account strategy for generating and developing business growth opportunities, drive business development, build and manage an active sales pipeline, and close new business to meet/exceed quarterly quotas.
• Drive all stages of the sales lifecycle from intro to close, including planning, preparing, and presenting custom proposals, and leading high impact meetings with qualified leads, prospects and partners.
• Understand each customer’s strategic growth plans and business drivers, podcast strategy and competitive landscape, and adequately advise clients on how to build a successful podcast sponsorship program based on KPIs.
• Continuously maximize revenue growth with existing accounts and manage direct advertiser relationships to increase business, initiate special promotions and new opportunities.
• Identify market opportunities and areas for growth and improvement to share internally with leadership.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• 5 years of sales or business development experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, preferably in enterprise, advertising, adtech, or influencer marketing space.
• Established relationships with decision makers both with leading ad agencies and direct advertisers.
• Experience leading a consultative sales process and developing relationships with C-level executives.
• Deep understanding of the social media landscape, paid media, trends, influencer marketing, and podcast advertising.
• Ability to effectively communicate product differentiation in a crowded marketplace.
• Creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit.
