The Traffic Ambassador is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the Parking & Traffic Staff of the venue, who fulfill roles as Parking Lot Attendants and Traffic Controllers. Supervisor will be expected to oversee staff in tasks in either or both areas. Duties may also include management functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Direct pedestrians to and from State Farm Arena by controlling movements at various crosswalks while using hand signals, traffic wands or flashlights as necessary.
• Provide guests with directional assistance to and from venue, vehicles, designated drop-off/pick-up zones.
• Maintains all equipment from check-in until check-out to include vests, light wands, radios and any other provided traffic equipment.
• Lift, position, and remove barricades, signage, cones and other equipment to open or close pedestrian traffic.
• Responsible for ensuring that all equipment and signage is properly placed and collected before, during and after events.
• Inspects parking lots before each event at State Farm Arena to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Patrol parking lots during State Farm Arena events to monitor for theft or otherwise unsafe condition.
• Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
• Participate in department training and staff briefings in order to be well-informed and prepared to execute event-specific duties and needs for all State Farm Arena events.
• Display all guest services standards as delivered through SMILE 2.0 training to include greeting, directing and assisting guests and reporting customer inquiries and complaints to management.
Assist Director, Safety and Security and Traffic Coordinator to ensure compliance with all safety, health and security policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and not otherwise prohibited by Law or Company
