Part Time Job
The Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena are looking for a part-time Digital Content Assistant to assist the Digital Content Manager with select content, social media and website responsibilities. This position will be hourly and work roughly 20 hours per week, with the potential for more some weeks. The schedule will vary week-to-week but will most often include nights and weekends. This person will be responsible for the following:
- Assist Digital Content Manager with posting to all Hawks and Philips Arena Social Media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, YouTube, Google , LinkedIn)
- Assist Digital Content Manager with Hawks.com and PhilipsArena.com duties as necessary
- Attend all Philips Arena events (games, concerts, shows, etc.) and assist with live coverage for social platforms
- Attend Hawks community events to gather content as needed
- Work with various departments to support organizational campaigns on social media
- Monitor social feeds, respond to fan inquiries in a timely manner, and forward social inquiries to team members for answers when appropriate
- Work with Corporate Partnership team to incorporate necessary partnerships into social posting schedule
- Stay current with best practices, strategies, industry standards and regulations related to social media
- Stay current with social media trends and topics
- Adhere to all organizational social media guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or studying Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, Journalism or related field
- Strong writing, grammar and communication skills
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Experience coordinating and posting to social media on behalf of a brand is preferred
- Experience with consumer reaction, response and engagement on social platforms preferred
- Knowledge of basketball and pop culture preferred but not required
