Full Time Job
The Atlanta Dream seeks highly motivated individuals who have a real passion for basketball and building long-term business relationships. The position of Senior Account Executive is a full-time benefited sales position with a primary focus of selling group and premium experiences for the Atlanta Dream. Other sales focuses would include selling Full and Partial season tickets.
• You will sell group and corporate experiences, as well as season and other ticket packages.
• Make a minimum number of sales calls as directed by Director of Ticket Sales.
• Set a minimum of 3 face to face meetings a week.
• Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service standard methodologies, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management
• Meet and exceed annual sales goals.
• Provide a superior level of customer service to all ticket buyers, regardless of level of purchase
• You will be required to attend and work all home games, as well as team and community events for the purpose of securing ticket sale opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects with our CRM system
• Service the needs of each existing account, while establishing relationships to provide excellent customer and renew each season ticket and group account.
• Become knowledgeable in pricing, discounts, promotions and Dream policies and procedures.
• Continually craft and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
• Chip in positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
• Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
and Experience
• College degree required
• Three to five years of successful sales experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry
• Prior experience in ticket sales, telemarketing, appointment scheduling or cold-calling techniques is preferred
• Possess excellent customer relations skills
• Outstanding professional phone sales technique and skills
• Able to manage schedule to achieve daily goals for calls, appointments and sales
• Proficient with Archtics and TicketMaster ticketing systems, or a similar ticketing system
• Handle problems and customers in an efficient and courteous manner
• Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with a team.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficient in Database Applications, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of Dream/WNBA preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience. ($27,000 to $32,000 plus commission)
