The VP, Project Management Office (PMO) will manage a team of program managers to work closely with the Strategy & Digital team to ensure the successful completion of ASCAP's complex transformational strategic initiatives across various business units.
The PMO is responsible for coordinating the execution of ASCAP's numerous near term and long term strategic initiatives covering both core business growth and new digital product launches. This coordination includes managing all aspects of implementing the portfolio of strategic initiatives across the enterprise: working with ASCAP's senior leadership team to define scope, manage work products and plans, and ensuring initiatives are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time and cost requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Work symbiotically with Strategy / Business Development, Data and Digital Product groups
• Develop and manage detailed project plans for complex programs with matrixed stakeholders across a multitude of departments, including ISD, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Finance
• Lead execution of high visibility projects with high-level of discipline and attention to detail. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates
• Act as single point of contact for each project on schedule, cost, and scope
• Lead consensus building on process, scope, and execution across the organization
• Manage change control as requirements and priorities shift through planning and communication
• Manage and influence multiple stakeholders in order to drive execution of product roadmap and partner with other teams to source, allocate and coordinate resources
• Create and manage reporting of status and progress along with team communication
• Facilitate the resolution of issues within your team and across teams
• Identifying risk factors and escalating issues on an as needed basis for key stakeholders; developing contingency plans to adjust project scope, resources or time lines.

Qualifications
and Requirements
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
• High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that will enable you to earn trust at all levels
• Proven experience of managing projects, budgets and justifying resource needs to senior leaders and finance partners
• Experience with service oriented architecture and Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Project Management tools such as MS Project, Basecamp, Asana, etc.
• Experience using tools to capture user stories, test cases, sign-offs, etc. JIRA is preferred
• Experience leading teams that are building and managing complex platforms that are highly reliable and scalable
• PMP certification required
• 5 years experience with project management in a matrixed environment
• Master's degree a plus
